I want a good battlefield game with a simple UI/browser that has full lobbies with actual players and not AI's looking at the floor. I was hoping for something close to Bf4 when I got Bf 2042

i think actually many are cheating ... especially emulating a controller and using auto aim while in real beeing on mouse and keyboard ... COD adressed that kind of cheats .. but some Content creators clearly use it .... but Ea gives a fuck

This is why cross play is trash. I dont mind schooling the Playstation chodes but you can't trust the PC race.

I dont see cheaters often at all in this game. Atleast blatant ones. But maybe its more like theyre cheating the way that the cheat dev does, which he just uses them to assist his gameplay.

No it's not legal mate.. it's breach of copyright.. lol he must realise he's taking someone else's products and reselling it for monetary gain.. he must have the source code program to change the numerical values to accept his script and cheats lol what a full on gimp

Think I have Stockholm Syndrome because I first thought "I wouldn't remove specialists" but I realized that.. they are not Battlefield as I knew, that I want. I've gotten used to them, like that annoying aunt or cousin I have no power to remove. But. Specialists! Armor plates. Mackay gadget replaced to map pick up zipline, single use. As fun as wingsuit can be... yeah put it in some (even) more casual game, not Battlefield. TRANSPORT helicopter explosive weapons, it's not gunship it's transport. Reduce spotting crap, this includes poke balls, tugs, Paik and Rao gadgetry. Blasco anti-spot block seems easy score farm, maybe it wouldn't be as much and would be more a vehicle helping anti-lock thing. TOR tank and Railgun. Maybe make them map pick-ups with limited time/ammo. Lissile, duh. In fact al 3 engineers have crappy gadgets and specialities now that faster repair is gone. Ranger doggo was funny cute idea but it's annoying as heck. For single player campaign yeah sure throw it there along with all specialists and their lore that is not seen in multiplayer anyway. Lore. Rremove the friggin lore from multiplayer. I know the trailer and lore teams are the hard hitters, doing multitudes of better quality than any other part in 2042. But the lore means nothing in this multiplayer, no mode really means anything to it. Hot take, Nightbird. The idea of scout helicopter isn't bad. But when it's just a farming tool anti-everything never taken down it's the most annoying thing ever. Yeah beginner pilots and even average ones are fine. But once you get even slightly good at it, it's stupid. Heavily armored attack helicopter? No problem let me take this no armor quick scout heli and kill it no big deal easy, dodge all its heavy rockets. Screw Nightbird. It was never this OP compared to other air vehicles. I want more maps, more weapons, server browser and 5 man squads, 4 or more actual recognizeable classes. That's not removing but eh.

the first thing i want removed from bf 2042 is that the french operator isn't french , isn't even born in france in the in game lore. I'm proud to have exactly 0 kills wit Sundance because she is a shame and a DEI token black lady

I have reported countless cheaters who use Aimbot for plane jets and helicopters in BF but yet they pop up faster in the next game means that EA anti-cheat is obviously not working. They need to strictly ban permanently like the one game that does it.

They cheat to fool themselves and others into thinking they’re better than they actually are. It’s fkn sad.

Apart from IP banning which is countered by using a simple VPN id suggest Hardware banning to come back again..and also give admin rights to server owners with proper spectating tools and then just ban em all

A wider internet bandwidth infrastructure and server-based cloud gaming are the only solutions to completely eliminate all cheaters.

The JDAM one shots a full health Wildcat, I got killed by 3 of them today. Found myself playing Crawford rather than Lis, as I got a couple Draugr kills with the Stinger though, not much other defense really, as it sneaks up on you and before you know it, your dead.

Impossible to find a game with out cheater or hacker in Lobby. spawn killing. makes me angry . Blame ea of course. Frankly every great fps game sooner or later gets infected. Scum bag cheaters.

Uninstalled 2042.

They kept saying the Draugr was going to be an unmanned aerial vehicle/drone(UAV), I guess basically the RQ-170 Sentinel(Wraith), yet it flies like a jet and pilot dies when the vehicle does....lol.

They need to buff the main jets 30 mm cannons with at least splash damage cuz right now the new jet got 20 mm cannon which actually deal damage to all target plus it has splash damage on top of that.

Anyone else remember the days of BF3 where you’d have a map with one ground attack aircraft per team, so at the beginning of the round you and the other pilot would tilt wings in silent agreement that you wouldn’t attack each other so you could both just farm kills 😅

Thanks Ghost that was a really informative stream (no irony or sarcasm!). Looks to me like the Draugr is a reskinned jet with anti-personnel bombs & from what we saw here, slightly questionable anti-vehicle options (bit low on damage, weren't they?). The cloak visually is quite cool but in terms of utility i.e. having to pop before the missile is fired, not great? In any case it's not what I was hoping for -- something fresh -- and a real missed opportunity. It'll fly, fight and die exactly the same as the jets do today. Just my take.

I want to see these cheaters banned, but just a word on IP address banning - not a good idea. Most home users with an individual IPv4 address have a dynamic IPv4 address so one legit player could coincidentally inherit a cheater's IP address and that would affect them too. Also, users on home networks part of a CGNAT would all get banned (this could be one or several streets). With fewer IPv4 addresses than people and companies on this planet, we shouldn't suggest IP address banning as they will likely affect someone else down the line.

You should call ALL Console players cheaters since they have AIM Assist. Which is for losers! Anyone who needs Assist to AIM rather PC OR Console are straight up losers who are trash at the game!

Is there a way to spot the direction of the lock ons coming ? Like in bf4? I haven't figured out how to notice the directions of the lock ons in 2042, am I missing something?

Don’t know if you’ll ever do an overview video, but I’d be keen to see what the cloak looks like from the perspective of someone on the ground, so I can get a feel for how effective it is

Looks to me like one of the better ways to use it would be the bf4 strat of pelting them at range with the 20s, then drop the incendiary at the end of the strafe, since the range on those 20s seems rather ling

No matter what they add to this game, ppl are gonna hate but im glad that i played the hell out of it n that new Draugr looks awesome just like the other semi futuristic vehicles in this game

I honestly wish they would have fixed HOTAS support, but seeing as 2042 is EOL now as they move onto the newest one. Probably wont happen. I do hope however, the newest BF they give us proper PC HOTAS Support like BF1, BFV, BF4 BF3 and every other BF PC Title has properly supported. Why suddenly 2042 lacked this support, was beyond me
